Bandit Model 280XP
The Model 280XP is a highly productive hand-fed disc-style chipper. The feed system on this chipper is powerful enough to pull large diameter whole trees into the chipper.The Model 280XP can be fed with the optional knuckle boom loader.The large opening on the Model 280 is 18" x 20 1/2" wide, allowing for multiple or large diameter trees to be chipped with ease. A 45° angled feed provides economy and efficiency when chipping larger diameter materials.

It is ideal for those involved in big tree takedowns and light land clearing.A more powerful hydraulic feed system was added in early 2000 that vastly improved its performance. This machine has been "put into motion" by way of a Caterpillar 305 rubber-tracked undercarriage. This option comes with a tether and radio remote.The Model 280XP is powered by a CAT 140hp diesel engine and comes standard with the strong hydraulic winch to help get the job done easily and fast.
