The Model 2800SP is a powerful backyard stump grinder that is compact enough to fit through a backyard gate. Powered by a strong 63hp Caterpillar diesel engine, the Model 2800SP has plenty of grinding power.The Model 2800SP features positive lock drive motors, giving this unit awesome power to climb hills and traverse uneven terrain not accessible by other grinders in its class.
This unit comes standard with a radio remote control that will control all grinding functions. If a radio remote is not suited for you, the Model 2800SP can be custom made with a swing out operator's station.
The Model 2800SP features detachable dual front wheels that provide additional flotation and are easy to remove with a single bolt. This unit also features a hydrostatic drive system powering the cutter wheel. This system provides a smooth, controlled cut and a fast stop feature that slows the cutter wheel to a stop in just a few seconds. The Model 2800SP can quickly reach the stump with a high travel speed of 6.5kph, which is infinitely variable down to a crawl speed for when you are working at the stump.
